These are the problems that this leading oil company was facing on a daily basis. It was obvious that an intranet federating and harmonizing the purchasing processes offered a potential of productivity and savings to this company.
The solution
Thanks to Process Studio the client was able to model and harmonize the group's purchasing processes and give everyone a precise vision of how this activity is carried out: who? when? how? why?
Then, in a second step, Process Studio automatically generated the purchasing intranet from the process model and without any programming. This 100% web application could be deployed in a few days throughout the world.

The various purchasing managers now have at their disposal all relevant information on suppliers, products, contracts and negotiated rates.
Ranking schemes and visual indicators allow them to track the progress of purchases in real time and anticipate delays or logistical problems. Supplier qualification and review forms help them rate, rank and manage supplier quality based on multiple criteria. Dashboards are also available to give them a real-time view of the activity from a qualitative and quantitative point of view.
